Who we are

A community of like minded people seeking after Jesus with all we have

Our beliefs

Get to know us

  • A community built on the life and teachings of Jesus.

We believe Jesus perfectly reveals the true heart of God. He’s not a distant or indifferent dad, who scowls with arms crossed as he considers all you’ve wasted and everything you’ve broken. Instead, He’s a God who loves you, whose arms are open wide to welcome people home.

Why would God want to hang with people like us? There’s only one answer: love. Extravagant love. Love that is on a level beyond time and space. Divine love. And this is the kind of love that is towards us today.

  • Mission & Vision

Our vision is to bring a movement of reproducing churches empowered by the Gospel of Jesus to love and serve southern California. Our dream for the future is not that one church be built up, but that Anthem would be a part of a reproducing church movement throughout the world. To do this, we believe that the culture of Anthem must be centered around not just doing the work of the Gospel, but reproducing the work of the Gospel.

Our mission is to Help people find their way back to God. God created us to be in perfect relationship with Him. Sin caused that relationship to be broken, and has caused us to stray away from Him. Wherever we are currently at in our relationship with God, whether we are Christ-followers or not, we need to continue to find our way back to a perfect relationship with Him.

  • Two halves of a whole

The church is not a building or a weekend event, but a people. We aim to live out the Gospel in our cities throughout the week in Community Groups, and gather together each weekend as a collection of believers, a family, celebrating together, worshiping together and sitting under the authority of Scripture together at our Sunday Gatherings.

    SUNDAY GATHERINGS

Sunday gatherings are the primary way we gather as a church and are a central part of who we are as a community following Jesus.

Through the different elements of a Sunday gathering, such as prayer, expressing adoration for God through music, preaching and teaching the Bible, remembering Christ through communion, and making space to hear from the Holy Spirit, our aim to is make much of Jesus and let him transform us.

    COMMUNITY GROUPS

Community Groups are the primary way we scatter during the week around Ventura to live out the way of Jesus together.

Community Groups meet during the week around Ventura to live out the way of Jesus together. A Community Group is a place you can be known and loved because the Gospel is real. Not only can you be known and loved by God, but you can be known and loved by your brothers and sisters in Jesus. These communities are always open and welcome to newcomers.
